Usually, I like to crochet amigurumi animals (like the octopuses I showed you here) but recently I have turned to blankets. At the moment I am loving how quick and easy it is to make corner-to-corner blankets. This is a pattern I have never tried before and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed doing them as I usually get quite bored when making blanket.
I found this crochet pattern from Sewrella (pattern here) and I just fell in love with how cute it was! The blanket that she makes fits 40 inches x 32 inches. Whereas, the blanket I made fits 17 inches x 14 inches. As I decided that I wanted to make a small security blanket using the same pattern. All I did was use a 5.5mm hook and the Stylecraft Special DK.
If you are looking to make these adorable blankets then Sewrella has a video tutorial and also a simple written PDF pattern that are very easy to follow.
Also, If you are not looking to make the blanket but looking to buy a blanket them please head over to my etsy shop, you can order any of the colours below or make a note in the sellers notes of what colours you would like. But please remember that it could take up to 10 working days to make these blankets. (Etsy found here!)
