Bob the Minion Crochet Pattern!

You Will Need:

Yellow Yarn
Blue Yarn
White Yarn
Black Yarn
Grey yarn
4.00mm crochet hookScissors
Stuffing Sewing needle


Abbreviations:

ch = chain
st = stitch
sc = single crochet
inc = increase (two single crochets in on stitch)dec = decrease (two single crochets together)sl st = slip stitch

Body:

Using yellow yarn
Round 1: magic circle with 6 sc. (6)
Round 2: inc in each st. (12)
Round 3: sc then inc in the next st. (18)
Round 4: sc in the next 2 then inc. (24)
Round 5: sc in the next 3 then inc. (30)
Round 6: sc in the next 4 then inc. (36)
Round 7: sc tin the next 5 then inc. (42)
Round 8: sc in the next 6 then inc. (48)
Round 9: sc in the next 7 then inc. (54)
Round 10: sc in the next 8 then inc. (60)
Round 11-15: sc in each st. (60)
Switch to black yarn
Round 16-18: sc in each st. (60)
Switch to yellow yarn
Round 19-31: sc in each st. (60)
Round 32: sc in next 8 then dec. (54)
Round 33: sc in next 7 then dec. (48)
Round 34: sc in next 6 then dec. (42)
Round 35: sc in next 5 then dec. (36)
Round 36: sc in next 4 then dec. (30)
Round 37: sc in next 3 then dec. (24)
Round 38: sc in next 2 then dec. (18)
Start stuffing
Round 39: sc in next st then dec. (12)
Round 40: dec 6 times (6)
Round 41: sc stitches together.
Fasten off and weave in.

Overalls

Using Blue yarn
Round 1: magic circle with 6 sc. (6)
Round 2: inc in each st. (12)
Round 3: sc then inc in the next st. (18)
Round 4: sc in the next 2 then inc. (24)
Round 5: sc in the next 3 then inc. (30)
Round 6: sc in the next 4 then inc. (36)
Round 7: sc tin the next 5 then inc. (42)
Round 8: sc in the next 6 then inc. (48)
Round 9: sc in the next 7 then inc. (54)
Round 10: sc in the next 8 then inc. (60)
Round 11-14: sc in each st. (60)
Start crocheting in rows
Round 15f: ch1 and turn, 14 sc (14)
Round 16f: ch1 and turn, dec then sc in next 10 st then dec (12)
Round 17f: ch1 and turn, 12 sc (12)
Round 18f: ch1 and turn, dec then sc in next 8 st then dec (10)
Fasten off and skip 16 sc from the 14th round and reattach yarn.
Round 15b: sc in next 14 st (14)
Round 16b: ch1 and turn, sc in next 14 st (14)
Round 17b: ch 1 and turn, dec then sc in next 10 st then dec (12)
Round 18b: ch 1 and turn, dec then sc in next 8 st then dec (10)
Making straps
ch 23 and sc back in 22 st and sl st, sc in next 9 st, ch 23 and sc back in 22 st and sl st.Fasten off and leave tail for sewing.

 

Arms (two needed)

Using Black yarn
Round 1: magic circle with 6 sc. (6)
Round 2: inc in each st. (12)
Round 3-5: sc in each st. (12)
Switch to yellow yarn
Round 6: sc in next 4 st then dec (10)
Round 7-16: sc in each st. (10)
Finish off and leave tail for sewing, stuff lightly.

Legs (two needed)

Using black yarn
Round 1: magic circle with 6 sc. (6)
Round 2: inc in each st. (12)
Round 3: sc in next st then inc. (18)
Round 4: sc in next 2 st then inc. (24)
Switch to blue yarn
Round 5-9: sc in each st. (24)
Finish off and leave tail for sewing, stuff lightly.

Eyes

Using black yarn
Round 1: magic circle with 6 sc. (6) Switch to white yarn
Round 2: inc in each st. (12)
Round 3: sc in next st then inc. (18)
Round 4: sc in next 2 st then inc. (24)
Switch to grey yarn
Round 5-7: sc in each st (24)
Round 8: sc in next 5 st then inc (28)Finish off and leave tail for sewing.

How to Assemble

First slip the overall onto the body and sew the overalls onto the body and attach the straps to the front of the overalls.
Attach the arms to the body, just under the straps of the overalls.
Attach the legs to the bottom of the body.

Sew the eyes onto the front of the body- fold the grey outer area over and sew so they are in line with the black line across the top of the head.
