It’s 2020, I can’t believe I am actually sating that because I refuse to believe that it has been 10 years since I completed school. I’ve decided this year to set a few goals. Instead of trying to follow a New Years resolution that I never actually stick to.
Read at least 12 books!
I want to read more this year, I absolutely adore a good romance novel but I never actually read. 12 books sounds like a lot but when you think of ‘1 book per month’ it isn’t actually a lot. I have so many books on my shelf that I haven’t got round to reading for no reason at all. My goal is to read more as I’m always talking about how good reading is for self-care but never seem to find the time to do it. So if you have any recommendations for a good romance then let me know!
Post more regularly!
I love writing on this blog yet I tend to slack a lot. Some months I can post 10+ posts and others I can post none at all. I just want to get into the hang of writing more, especially as it is something that I am so interested in.
Create more patterns!
I love crocheting and I love creating patterns even more so I’ve decided this year I want to add more patterns to my Etsy page and maybe even start selling some of my toys or blankets to make a little extra cash. I think I may start with my C2C patterns. I had so much fun creating my Disney and Marvel blanket patches that I would love to try and do a Harry Potter or DC blanket.
Spend more time with friends!
I feel like I spend quite a bit of time with friends but I would love to do more things. Maybe a night away, another trip to ghetto golf, a festival or a spa day. My favourite thing to do is go out with friends but I feel like I need to fight my anxiety a bit harder and spend more time going out and push some more boundaries.
Give to charity!
The main place I donate to is CAARS rescue centre just because that is where is got my little dog Geoffrey from. My sister and I donated stuff for the dogs and cats about 5 times last year but I would love to start giving more. I can’t afford to keep giving money to charities but maybe donating some book or clothes to places that need them more than myself could be a good start.
